Analysis of water-borne non-food products
The legislation and regulations surrounding preservatives and additives in products are constantly being made more stringent. This poses considerable challenges to producers. Microbiological testing
In the Wydo microbiological laboratory, our specialists test samples for the presence of possible contamination (control and prevention) and investigate contamination to determine its nature and consequences.
Challenge tests
A deliberate contamination with high numbers of bacteria to determine the shelf life and safety of a product.
Surface testing
Specifically designed to examine antimicrobial activity and efficacy on a variety of surfaces such as floors, walls and coatings as well as packaging materials.
Isolation and identification of contamination
Isolate and identify micro-organisms from samples of e.g., drinking- and process water, air, delivered raw materials, semi-finished products or finished products.
When a contamination is identified, we give advice on control and prevention.
Disinfection tests
To test the effect of disinfectants, we use quantitative suspension tests. These tests provide insight into the inhibition or growth of micro-organisms.
Leaching tests
To examine the possible leaching of biocide from an antimicrobial surface over time.
